The children enter an observation cycle in which they become familiar with dancing; they discover the bases of the ballet and jazz dance: the children can recognize in which style they better see themselves.

In this class, priority is given to the technical bases and body manners while enjoying the dance.

It is possible to start the jazz classes from the age of 9. Rhythms and bodily movements give the possibility to the students to express themselves following the modern music and still maintaining the visual grace of the ballet dance.

The modern dance was created in the beginning of the last century. It draws its source from nature, emotion and movement. Modern dance enables to project the interior sensation into space and time and also to express an artistic emotion by the movement, for students from 10 years old.

This method enables everybody to discover training. It aims to improve the muscular performance through different exercises. In this class, the priority is given to become aware of his/her body, without losing the pleasure of movement.

Vocation and objectives

The « Traversée » Company is open to teenagers and adults. It offers a preparation for the stage and completes the education given in the other courses without replacing them.

World known teachers and choreographers are regularly invited. They give a chance to the dancers to discover others styles and techniques. This different approach of dancing enables the student to break out of a routine.
