Dancer and choreographer, Fabienne, obtained her dance teacher diploma at the Centre d’Art Chorégraphique in Ginette Bastien (France).

Today she is a member of :

• The Committee of the Swiss Dance School Federation (FSED);
• The International Dance Council (CID – UNESCO) since 2002;
• The Danse Suisse since 2009;

As the art of dance changes with the time (affected by tendencies and music), Fabienne regularly participates to seminaries with international reputation, such as Bruno Vandelli, Olivier Coste, Sylvie Le Quéré, Rehda, Wayne Barbaste, Bruce Taylor, Jorma Uotinen, etc. She also works for the Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Centers in New York.

History

The Dance Academy was found in Martigny (Switzerland) in 1978 by its director, Fabienne Rebelle Vouilloz. The Academy offers classical, modern and jazz courses as well as Pilate Method gym to dancers of all levels (children from 3 years old, adolescents and adults). Every second year the Academy presents its work through a thematic show to a wide audience.

The dance company “La Traversée” was found in 2001. This enables the most passionate students to gain stage experience by participating to different shows, competitions and revues.
